Liquid reservoir of the air-cooled chiller: the liquid reservoir is installed behind the condenser and is directly connected with the discharge pipe of the condenser. The refrigerant liquid of the condenser should flow into the reservoir unimpeded, so that the cooling area of the condenser can be fully utilized. On the other hand, when the heat load of the evaporator changes, the demand for refrigerant liquid also changes. At that time, the liquid reservoir plays the role of regulating and storing refrigerant. For the refrigeration device system of small chiller, the liquid reservoir is often not installed, but the condenser is used to adjust and store the refrigerant.
Dry filter of the air-cooled chiller: in the refrigeration cycle of the chiller, it is necessary to prevent the entry of water and dirt (oil, iron and copper chips). The source of water is mainly the trace water contained in the newly added refrigerant and lubricating oil, or the water caused by the entry of air in the maintenance system. If the water in the system is not completely removed, when the refrigerant passes through the throttle valve (thermal expansion valve or capillary), sometimes the water will solidify into ice due to the decrease of pressure and temperature, blocking the channel and affecting the normal operation of the refrigeration device. Therefore, a drying filter must be installed in the chiller refrigeration system.
